Hello There!

Hi there! I'm Taylan Ward-Harris and I am a recent graduate of Access Creative College with the grade of D*D*D* (Triple Distinction*).

I am actively searching for a career in Junior Graphic Design or Digital Marketing, as I have a passion for design and hope to be able to make a career from it. I have always enjoyed art since a young age, and dreamt of making a career out of it one day; and soon this would become a reality. 

My favourite areas of Graphic Design are Visual/Branding Identity and Logo Design, though I have some interests for Product Design, Typography and Illustrations as well. I am also interested in the psychology and meanings behind Media as well, including Motion Graphics or even Films. They have always caught my attention in wondering how designs work to capture people's attention and what they cause the mind to think upon viewing them. This is what I plan on using within my work to use designs to engage the audience as possible.

Recently, I completed a week's worth of unpaid work experience at CIM Signs & Graphics, where I was taught the more productive side of design. I enjoyed my week at the studio and hoped to gain a position, though unfortunately they had recently recruited other employees and had no more vacancies.

I am currently employed at McDonalds Restaurants in Snetterton, where I work as the position of a Crew Trainer. My job is to help sustain the restaurant alongside the managers by working alongside the Crew Members. I am also tasked with training the new employees during their probation period, and ensuring that they learn how to complete specific stations and complete their e-learning before their training shifts end. Although I have recently enquired on how to become a Shift Leader, and have begun working towards becoming qualified for the position.
